Please make sure you review the daily health assessment (english or simplified chinese) before sending your child(ren) to school. Or use the K-12 Health Check website.
If you are late to school, your child(ren) must enter through the upper front door by the salmon mural and check-in at the office. Please call the office at (604) 713-5414 or use the new doorbell beside the door so they can let the child(ren) in.
If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please email souattendance@vsb.bc.ca or phone 604-713-5159 as soon as possible and leave your child's name, division number, the date and whether they will be absent or late. If you phone, you will be required to use a school code. The Southlands school code is 79#.

Southlands PAC is excited to announce that Mozart School of Music is offering flute lessons, taught by Mikyla Jensen, to Southlands students again this year! They will be offered after school and online again, due to continued COVID precautions.
If you would like to join the Southlands PAC flute program, and/or have questions about it, please contact Julie to register at southlands.elementary.music@gmail.com:
- your child’s name and division number,
- indicate flute or kinderflute,
- whether you prefer online or in person.

MunchaLunch is the online ordering system used for PAC activities at the school.
New parents, please register for a MunchaLunch account at https://munchalunch.com/schools/southlands/
Returning parents, your MunchaLunch accounts have been rolled over so please do not create a new account. Please log into your existing account at https://munchalunch.com/schools/southlands/ and update your child/ren's grades and division numbers. If you have a credit, it will show up in your account.

PAC Directory
Southlands PAC collects contact information for each student and their family on a voluntary basis. This information is made available in a directory for PAC and parent use. The directory is a great way for classmates and the families of Southlands school to connect, and for PAC volunteers to communicate about PAC activities. All information is to be used in the Southlands community only, and is not used for solicitation or any other purpose. The Directory is organized by the PAC and not by Southlands Elementary school staff.
This year the PAC directory has moved online. Instead of paper forms that were sent home every year, the PAC directory can be filled out online. Please take a few minutes to enter your information:
