Please make sure you review the daily health assessment (english or simplified chinese) before sending your child(ren) to school. Or use the K-12 Health Check website.
If you are late to school, your child(ren) must enter through the upper front door by the salmon mural and check-in at the office. Parents who are picking students up early must come to the office. Office staff will go and get the student.
If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please email souattendance@vsb.bc.ca or phone 604-713-5159 as soon as possible and leave your child's name, division number, the date and whether they will be absent or late. If you phone, you will be required to use a school code. The Southlands school code is 79#.

Hello, Southlands Families!
Thank you to everyone for coming to our goal-setting conferences. If you were not able to attend - don't worry! You can always connect with your child's teacher at another time - in person, on the phone or by Microsoft Teams. Just reach out!
This week, we had our first rainy weather at recess and lunch. We have a Wetcoast Recess - always outside. Thanks for making sure your child has proper clothing and footwear for the rain and cold. If finances are a problem, please call or send me an email and we will help.

Our Winter Holiday Purdys' Fundraiser is upon us! Please consider supporting this fundraiser by buying some local chocolate for the upcoming Winter season. All funds raised will go towards the school.

Delivery will be December 9th and December 12th. The delivery team will either have a local house porch pick up option or meet up at the school during pick up and drop off times.
