Please make sure you review the daily health assessment (english or simplified chinese) before sending your child(ren) to school. Or use the K-12 Health Check website.
If you are late to school, your child(ren) must enter through the upper front door by the salmon mural and check-in at the office. Parents who are picking students up early must come to the office. Office staff will go and get the student.
If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please email souattendance@vsb.bc.ca or phone 604-713-5159 as soon as possible and leave your child's name, division number, the date and whether they will be absent or late. If you phone, you will be required to use a school code. The Southlands school code is 79#.

Hello Southlands Families,
On Thursday, October 6th, we will be having our Terry Fox run. We will start with an assembly at 1:30 in the gym, then head out for a forest run. Parents are welcome to join us for the run or cheer us on.
We will be collecting donations for the Terry Fox Foundation all week. Thank you in advance for your generosity. Our goal is to raise at least $1 for every member of the school: $243.00. We can do it, Sockeyes!
