10 Sep to 11 Sep 2020 Monday, 7 September Labor day, school closed Tuesday, 8 September No classes Wednesday, 9 September No classes Thursday, 10 September 9-11:30am: Only surnames A-L Friday, 11 September 9-11:30am: Only surnames M-Z Looking ahead 14 Sep: First full day of school 14 Sep: KG gradual entry starts Please make sure you filled out the new survey sent this week so Southlands can plan for your child/ren's return to school next week. The survey is due by 8pm. Parents have received a letter from Ms Paxton this week outlining how Southlands will operate next week. There are no classes for students on Sep 8 and Sep 9. Teachers will be working to prepare Southlands for the students, and will be reaching out to parents. For Grades 1-7 where parents have chosen option 1 in the survey (full return to school): On Sep 10, children with last name starting with A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L will come to the school from 9-11:30am. On Sep 11, children with last name starting with M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W, X, Y, Z will come to the school from 9-11:30am. For Kindergarten where parents have chosen option 1 in the survey (full return to school), students will have their gradual entry start on Sep 14. For parents of all grades who chose option 4 in the survey (learn from home transition), please wait till the week of Sep 21 for direction on how it will be structured.
