If you are late to school (after 9:00 am), your child(ren) must enter through the upper front door by the salmon mural and check-in at the office. All parents entering the school must enter through the upper front door and check-in at the office. If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please email souattendance@vsb.bc.ca or phone 604-713-5159 as soon as possible and leave your child's name, division number, the date and whether they will be absent or late. Please come to our final PAC meeting of the year, on Tuesday June 3rd at 6pm in the library. This is our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and will discuss important items such as budget for next school year and nominations of PAC executive roles for next year. PAC cannot function without the dedicated parent volunteer work. We encourage and welcome families to join this year-end meeting. The agenda for the meeting is posted online here. Please let Nina know if you have any business to discuss. Hello Southlands families! The PAC will be hosting a pot luck style teacher and staff appreciation lunch on Wednesday, June 18. We're looking for volunteers to contribute dishes, so if you've got a specialty you'd like to share, we'd love to hear from you! Dear Grade 7 Families, As we prepare for the upcoming Grade 7 Graduation Ceremony on June 24th, a few parent volunteers on the grad committee are working hard to create a memorable slideshow to celebrate our students.
