Please continue to make sure your child(ren) are healthy and feeling well before sending them to school.
If you are late to school (after 9:00 am), your child(ren) must enter through the upper front door by the salmon mural and check-in at the office. All parents entering the school must enter through the upper front door and check-in at the office.
If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please email souattendance@vsb.bc.ca or phone 604-713-5159 as soon as possible and leave your child's name, division number, the date and whether they will be absent or late. If you phone, you will be required to use a school code. The Southlands school code is 79#.

Last Wednesday, PAC was able to invite an external company for Lunar New Year celebrations. It is always a great experience for the kids to experience multicultural activities in school. If you want to celebrate a culture in school, please reach out and we will work together to make it happen.
Tuesday (February 24th) is our PAC meeting online at 7pm. We hope to see many parents/caregivers there. The current agenda is posted here. If there is any agenda item you would like to discuss, please let me know.
Our very own Ms Judy will be receiving the Superintendent’s Tribute award next week at the Board of Trustees meeting at the School Board Office on Wednesday, February 25 at 6:45pm.
