Please continue to make sure your child(ren) are healthy and feeling well before sending them to school.
If you are late to school (after 9:00 am), your child(ren) must enter through the upper front door by the salmon mural and check-in at the office. All parents entering the school must enter through the upper front door and check-in at the office.
If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please email souattendance@vsb.bc.ca or phone 604-713-5159 as soon as possible and leave your child's name, division number, the date and whether they will be absent or late. If you phone, you will be required to use a school code. The Southlands school code is 79#.

There are few upcoming events:
PAC meeting is on January 20th at 6pm in school library. Join us at 5:30 for social prior to the meeting.
There will be lunar new year celebrations in school in mid February with lion dance and other cultural activities .
Krispy Kreme fundraiser is back this year. The fundraiser will run from January 19th to February 6th on munchalunch. Donuts will be delivered on February 12th, just in time for Family day/Valentine's day long weekend.
The next PAC meeting is virtual on 20 Jan in the school library at 6pm. Every parent and caregiver with a child at Southlands is automatically part of the Parent Advisory Council. Please join us and hear about what the PAC is working on.
