Please continue to make sure your child(ren) are healthy and feeling well before sending them to school.
If you are late to school (after 9:00 am), your child(ren) must enter through the upper front door by the salmon mural and check-in at the office. All parents entering the school must enter through the upper front door and check-in at the office.
If your child(ren) will be absent from school, please email souattendance@vsb.bc.ca or phone 604-713-5159 as soon as possible and leave your child's name, division number, the date and whether they will be absent or late. If you phone, you will be required to use a school code. The Southlands school code is 79#.

This year we are running a fundraiser with West Coast Seeds for the purpose of raising funds for various events and activities at our school. We chose this fundraiser because we would like to promote a program that is environmentally friendly and promotes growing food.
Did you know that every packet you sell will earn 40% for our organization!
West Coast Seeds provides Canada No 1 seeds that are untreated and non- GMO which means that it promotes sustainability. They have provided a wide range of their bestselling vegetables, herbs, and flowers, to give a little something for everyone.
All seeds can be ordered on the fundraising site (fundraising.westcoastseeds.com). Please ensure that you order from this site only, otherwise we will not earn the 40%. When you are ready to order, make your choices and add to your cart. Once you have completed your order, find our organization on the dropdown menu. Add in your details so that we can contact you when the orders are ready for pick up.
Please make sure to order by February 28th to avoid disappointment.

Please join the Southlands Sockeyes team at this year's SunRype Youth Team Challenge at the Sun Run. This year the run will be taking place on Sunday, April 27th.
